“Care about Childcare Five County is here to assist parents, child care providers, and community partners by providing referrals, early childhood education, and resources to promote quality child care. Care About Childcare is an exciting online program that the Utah Office of Child Care created in partnership with parents, child care providers, and many other childhood stakeholders. More than a website, this system helps child care providers showcase the quality of their programs and gives parents information that will allow them to make good choices for their families. “

We are here to help anyone interested in becoming a Family Childcare provider by:

  • Upfront funding available to help get started.
  • Help through the licensing process.
  • Free consultation services available.
  • Free marketing and referrals once licensed.
  • Professional Development training opportunities.
  • Materials grant once you’re state licensed!

For anyone looking for quality childcare or are interested in becoming a childcare provider, please call us at (435) 628-4843 or visit www.careaboutchildcare.utah.gov .”

Funding is provided on a year-to-year basis from the Department of Workforce Services, Office of Child through Child Care and Development Block Grant, and the Coronavirus Response and Relief Supplemental Appropriations Act.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

Sincerely,

Carrie Sigler

Director
