Superintendent Cade Douglas and Monroe Elementary School Principal Chett Heath discussed the end-of-year highlights at MES, including the Mental Health Series for parents. Superintendent Douglas thanked all District employees for their hard work and dedication.

Superintendent Douglas and Principal Brett Beagley gave an update on the happenings at South Sevier High School.  Principal Bealgey explained that Land Clark was inducted into the SSHS Hall of Fame. He also gave an update on the Pathways program for students and the CTE center's collaboration with Snow College for one and two-year certificate programs targeting regional job opportunities. Superintendent Douglas explained that the District is now offering a new 24/7 one-on-one confidential research-based coaching resource for parents. Additionally, an interactive virtual Parent Guidance series will be available.

Superintendent Douglas and Principal Chappell discuss happenings at Red Hills Middle School. Superintendent Douglas gives a District update including an update on the District's efforts to focus on the US Constitution and patriotism. He also shares highlights from the District's Annual Report Card. Principal Chappell shares highlights of RHMS and discusses student service opportunities, students becoming True Wildcats, school traditions, and student centered instruction.

Superintendent Douglas gives an update on current COVID cases as well as student wellness and strategies for adults to connect and reconnect with students. 

CTE Center Health Sciences teacher Paul Torgerson and several students share experiences about the capstone course and projects that are strengthening the Health Sciences Pathway.

Principal Rod Hinck, Superintendent Douglas, and a student guest discuss happenings at North Sevier Middle School. The Superintendent also gives a District update including an exciting discussion on unified sports.

Elementary Principal Chad Johnson and Superintendent Douglas discuss happenings at Pahvant Elementary and throughout the District including an introduction of the Dignity Index.

On November 9th at the Annual Chamber of Commerce Banquet Sevier School District was selected as the Business of the Year!  Though we aren't a business as most are defined, there is no doubt we are in the Kid Business and that is the most important business of all. "This award goes out to the many teachers, administrators, faculty members, and support staff. Their dedication to our students is inspiring, it is wonderful to see them honored with this!" Superintendent Douglas.
