Mr. Travis Henderson
Vice Principal (Former English, CTE, Finance Teacher, Wrestling coach)
Mr. Henderson grew up in Green River, Wyoming where he learned to love education and mentoring youth. He graduated from Weber State University in 2014 with a degree in English Education. The following August, he married his high school sweetheart and moved to Salina where he taught and coached wrestling until he transitioned to Vice Principal.
Mrs. Sorenson grew up in Salina, UT. She currently lives in Axtell with her husband and two boys. She has an accounting degree. She has attended Snow College, Steven-Henager College, and SUU. Mrs. Sorenson loves being outside. Gardening, hunting, fishing, farm animals, and mowing the lawn are a few of her favorite things. She is always willing to help everyone in the school and make you feel welcome. North Sevier High School wouldn't be the same without her!

Mr. Smith grew up in Circleville, Utah. He taught history and physical science in Panguitch for 5 years and moved to Sevier County 17 years ago. He taught history at North Sevier for 2 years and has been the Counselor for the past 15 years. He is married to Char and together they have two boys and two girls. Mr. Smith loves to ride horses, camp, and hunt.
Mrs. Danielle Bosshardt
Courses: Secondary Math I

Mrs. Bosshardt is a North Sevier High Alumni. She has three kids and is married to her high school sweetheart. She enjoys math, reading, camping, razor, and Harley riding. Mrs. Bosshardt has been working at North Sevier for six years and is always helping in all the activities.

Mrs. "B" grew up in Salt Lake City, is married to Don Brinkerhoff, and has 4 grown children and 2 fabulous grandchildren. Mrs. B served in the USAF for 6 years and was a stay-at-home mom while her kids were little. She worked in Special Needs with students with Severe and Profound Disabilities and as the Physical Therapy aid for 10 years with Sevier School District before becoming a classroom teacher. Mrs. B loves kids, reading, hiking, biking, exercising, and being active and healthy.
Mr. Jason Goble

Mr. Goble grew up in Nephi, UT on his family's beef cattle, sheep, alfalfa hay, and small grains farm. He had all the Agriculture classes Snow College offered and completed his Agriculture Education degree at Utah State University. Mr. Goble is the FFA advisor of the North Sevier FFA Chapter, serving over 70 FF members each year.

Mr. Rodney Hurd

Assignments: Social Science Society, Rho Kappa Advisor. Provides Social Science Cords and a Social Science Scholarship for graduating seniors.
Mr. Hurd has been teaching for the district for the last 25 years and at NSHS for the past 15 years. He has a BA in Political Science, a BA in Social Science, MA in Education, and certificates and endorsements in International Affairs. Military Science, Law, and Economics.
Mrs. Jessica Ivie
Courses: Earth and Space Science & 10th Grade Language Arts

Mrs. Ivie grew up in Sevier County and returned to the area after receiving her bachelor's degree in Earth Science Education from Utah Valley University. She has also earned a master's degree from Mississippi State University where she studied geoscience. Mrs. Ivie has 10 years of experience teaching science and is excited to be teaching at the high school level. In her free time, Mrs. Ivie loves playing sports and reading. She is also known to be an amateur astronomer, a rockhound, and a mom to three busy kids!
Mrs. Jaylynn Johnson

Mrs. Johnson grew up in Gunnison but is no longer a bulldog. She is 100% Wolf now. She is married to a North Sevier Alumni and has 4 kids who are also Wolves. Mrs. Johnson went to Utah State and majored in History Education. She is currently working on her English endorsement. Mrs. Johnson loves to read, listen to music, and dance. She also loves to cheer on the Wolves as they participate in extracurricular activities.
Mrs. Jo Lynne Kirkwood
Courses: English 1010, 11th Language Arts, Sterling Scholar (College Prep), All Visual Arts classes.
Assignments: Advisor of the Hope Squad, Sterling Scholar, National Honor Society, and occasionally Art Club.
Mrs. Kirkwood grew up in Fredonia, Arizona - which is just south of Kanab. She is married to Micheal Kirkwood, and all four of their children are NSHS graduates. Mrs. Kirkwood is a performing Cowboy poet. She loves to read, make stuff (art and other constructions!), and write creatively. She also enjoys hiking, fishing, camping, and traveling in general. She is the proud grandma of six super-cute grandkids. Mrs. Kirkwood is an advisor for Hope Squad, Sterling Scholar, National Honor Society, and occasionally Art Club. These organizations involve a large part of the NSHS student body.
Ms. Lexa Larsen

Ms. Larsen grew up in Richfield, UT where she played volleyball and basketball and ran track and cross country (sadly there was no softball back in the day). She attended SUU and UofU. She played basketball at both universities and earned a degree in Mathematics Education with a minor in Physical Education. She earned a Master's Degree through the university that shall not be named. Ms. Larsen enjoys LEARNING, boating, snowboarding, biking, traveling the world, National Parks, and photography.
Mr. James Morey

Mr. Morey just moved to Utah this past summer from Arizona. His wife is also a teacher in the Sevier School District. They have two kids who are both in college and married. This is his 25th year of teaching music. He enjoys music, woodworking, traveling, hiking, and spending time with his family.

Mr. Peterson started teaching at North Sevier in 2006. He enjoys science because there are literally millions of potentially interesting things in the world to see, to do, and to learn about.

Mr. Shepherd grew up in Salina, UT. He is a North Sevier Alumni. Mr. Shepherd is married to a North Sevier Alumni, Peyton Shepherd. Mr. Shepherd loves sports and learning new things.
Mr. Ross Taylor

Mr. Taylor has an undergraduate degree in Exercise Science and a Master's of Business Administration from Utah Valley University where he also competed as a collegiate wrestler for the wolverines. Mr. Taylor has a mission to leave a lasting impression through service and education. He is currently working on developing the health science pathway at North Sevier and creating a culture of excellence around their athletics. He is married to Angela Taylor who serves the district as a mental health coordinator, and together they have a beautiful baby girl.
Mrs. Janene Torgerson
Courses: Language Arts (9th and 12th)
Mrs. Torgerson grew up in Central California, where they grow 2/3's of our nation's fruit and nuts. It was there where she met her husband while he was stationed with the U.S. Navy. After her husband's years of service, they moved back to his hometown of Salina where they lived for 18 years. They moved to Cody, Wyoming for 5 years due to a job transfer and moved back to Sevier County for the same reason. Mrs. Torgerson never thought they will have the opportunity to move back home.

Mr. Trimble grew up in Fillmore, UT, and has been teaching at North Sevier High since the fall of 2006. He es married to a Richfield High Alumni. Mr. Trimble loves to help our students discover how successful they can be.

Mr. Winn grew up in Annabella, UT, and graduated from South Sevier High School. He loves to rodeo and ride horses. He travels the country competing in the Teamroping event. He has been married to his wife Shianne since 2019/ He graduated with this bachelor's degree in Mathematical Education from SUU and is currently working on his Masters from WGU.
