Lloyd Family

Getting to know Sevier School District’s newly appointed
Business Administrator Chad W. Lloyd, CPA.

Chad grew up in Aurora, Utah and attended school in Salina, Utah; the North Sevier attendance area.

Chad began his secondary education at Snow College in Ephraim, Utah.  There he earned his Associate of Science Degree in Business.  He furthered his education at Southern Utah University, where he received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting.  Later he received his Master of Accountancy, also from Southern Utah University.

While attending Southern Utah University Chad began his career in accounting as a tax intern for a regional CPA Firm, HintonBurdick CPAs and Advisors.  After finishing his education Chad relocated back to his home area of Sevier County where he worked for the same company as a staff accountant and learned a wide variety of accounting skills.  In 2010 Chad completed all of the necessary requirements to become a Certified Public Accountant.  Chad continued to work in several areas of the accounting practice, but most of his time was spent working with local governments.  Chad worked with over 20 governmental entities located throughout the Western United States.   Chad also audited financial institutions, special-needs providers, construction companies, not-for-profits and other entities.  Chad is excited about the opportunity to use the skills he has obtained in public accounting to work for the Sevier School District.

Chad enjoys spending time with his family.  He and his wife have three daughters ages 6, 3, and 1.  His family loves camping and fishing in the beautiful area that surrounds Sevier County. Chad and his family are also avid sports fans and enjoy watching local events as well as traveling in order to watch sporting events that involve their favorite rooting interests.

The Board of Education and District Administration would like to thank Business Administrator Patrick Wilson for the leadership and dedicated service that he has provided to the Sevier School District for the last 33 years.
