Community Council Minutes 9/25/24
Call to Order: 3:15pm
Attending: Rod Hinck, Trampas Williams, Ashley Demille, Ashley Wilder, Janna Thalman, Sarah Conder, McKenzie Pollaehne
● Welcome and welcome video presented
○ Discussion of the trustlands management being responsive, managed well, and what trustland is.
● Minutes reviewed and approved from 3/19/25 meeting
■ All voted in favor to approve
● Election of Chair and Vice Chair
○ Descriptions of chair and vice chair responsibilities
○ Nomination of Sara Conder as Chair and Janna Thalman as Vice Chair
■ All voted in favor of these positions
● Adopt Rules of Order

○ Question about number of parents on the council addressed

● Review 2025-26 Trust Land Plan
○ Improve proficiency in Math, Language Arts and Science by 2% and use RISE as our data to determine that if we improved
○ Hire/retain staff to keep class sizes smaller
○ Additional action steps and funding discussed

○ Carry over from previous school year discussed
○ Questions about funds and budgets, and who school budget addressed
