RHS TSSA Budget 2025-26

RHS has a goal of keeping graduation rate over 95% by ensuring that 95% of 9th
graders will pass Language 9 based on the end of year F report from freshman
transcripts and 95% of 9th graders will pass Math 1 based on the end of year F report
from freshman transcripts.
We are incorporating the following things to help with that goal -
1. $7000 - to purchase licenses for Reading Plus, a reading program that builds
certain skills and strategies to improve reading levels for students. This will be
included in all of the 9th grade LA courses as a double blocked course.
2. $1294 - to purchase “turnitin” licenses for the school to be able to check written
work for plagiarism and academic rigor in all content areas to ensure college
readiness.
3. $65,573 - for Supplies
4. $258,320 - Teachers salaries plus fringe benefits. This will provide additional
support to Math and Language Arts. This will reduce class sizes, provide
opportunities for additional co-teaching periods and intervention support. There
will also be some used to support the music department with an accompanist for
choir.
5. $25,000 - Credit Recovery program and coordinator and teacher.
The total of these funds equals $357,937.00
