  1. Implementation Update

    2. Reading Component to the LA9 Lab
    3. Re-structure of Math 1 with Co-Teachers
    4. Purchase of Edgenuity For Credit Recovery
    5. Recovery of Credit Course for Seniors
    6. RTI report and communication of Cat Time with Tuesday incentive
    7. Hired additional IAs
      1. Class size has made a huge difference with the IA.
  2. CAT Time - New bell schedules this year. CAT time has been moved to the middle of the day. The goal is to catch students who would usually leave. The hope is that teachers and students see the value and purpose. CTE is not affected by the bell schedule change. It actually works better because the 4th hour now starts at the same time. Other schools in the district are allowing RHS to try out this bell schedule and see if it would benefit their school as well.
  3.  Incentives - Students request an early lunch for reward. We have started a new incentive on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Students can receive a 10 min early lunch on the following days for having acceptable standing in the following - Wednesday is behavior, Thursday is academically and Friday is Wildcat pride. It is a positive thing all around. It doesn’t require extra money. Everyone likes the extra time. Not near as many tardies.
  4. Student Portal - houses everything that a student needs to know, grades, fees, attendance, behavior, restitution and intervention. (grades and attendance). The behavior tab is marked by the teacher (acceptable, unacceptable). It now puts the responsibility on the teachers to have conversations with students to remove the unacceptable behavior. The behavior standing stays on there until the teacher takes it off.
  5. Lunch detention. A list is sent to teachers of students who are on lunch detention. They are required to report each day and have worksheets and consequences.
  6. IVC Lab - We now have a college IVC lab at the high school. Seniors are able to take some of the Snow College classes at the high school. This way we are able to oversee and keep better attendance of who is attending.
  7. Calendar future meetings - add counselors to the agenda
