  1. 10 yr plan
  2. Branding - unified kindergarten all the way through. Trying to encourage and get excited the community and schools for their future years.
  3. Fall Success - sports, unified soccer - special needs. Competed in the state finals took 2nd. Such a rewarding experience for all schools. They get awards. Basketball in January.
  4. Send off has been a positive - trying to represent everyone

Baseball field - junior baseball, richfield rec. Met and discussed that there is nothing to be changed on the baseball fields. You could squeeze a softball field around the back but not baseball and not much with bleachers.

Trustlands Video - reviewed the trustland process. Community Councils role in our current plan.

Review current plan - secondary schools we have additional funding that helps to provide fill in all of the funding. We don’t have to divide out all of our fund to be too specific on our funding and keep it under a broad umbrella. We can

Our ultimate goal is graduation is

  1. Technology
  2. Credit Recovery - we changed that this fall. It cost us $500 a license. It is a new program and kids are finding more success in that. Better than what it used to be. Language is the number one course in need of it. The course is better - more user friendly, and teachable.

How many kids can you put on a license? 5 licenses - 1 per license. We are part of a district package of 16. We do have a credit recovery course right now, they can all get on at the same time. We schedule it a different time than the other school. It does not involve cedar ridge or online schools. The IA can follow up and see the progress. Math option as well. World Civ and Language right now. Any seniors that are deficient we have are getting students into

  1. Full time teaching salaries - IAs have been hired. Helped supplement teaching and makes a big difference in the classes
  2. Strategic ACT - 9-11 will take this test and can help to improve their overall ACT score.
  3. Character Development - Advisory

Funding Categories

Salaries and Benefits - teachers salaries

Software - language software, language double blocked. Interventions - purchased enough licenses and then it can show where they need to improve reading. There was a need for every student. 5x5 they can earn 40 credits in the 4 years.

Less students fail language with interventions to help them stay up to speed and not back tracking. With it double blocked it helps raise ACT scores. It is intervention and enhancement. Provide that class for some students that are not just 9th graders.

Professional Development requires overnight stay.

Math double blocked. Math department will recommend who goes to honors, math and personal finance. The additional IAs.

Monday F report - if they are failing one or more of those classes. Attendance is a big challenge. Making phone calls and talking to parents.

School Report Card 10th and 11th scored highest in the district. 9th grade struggled. State end of level testing. Try to help motivate freshmen as a school. Make it a competition. This is the first year of data from COVID. Will share with teachers.
