Notes:
Significant needs in our school: teachers, safety, social and emotional wellness(TSSA), school counselor, technology devices and programs, instructional assistants, attendance increases with incentives and field trips etc.
Attendance parties: glow party, blookit, fun competitions with principal, treats and extra recess, props for photobooth, mystery dress up days for staff, music in the gym, attendance assembly
Officer Williams SRO- bell to bell every day; teaching NOVA to 5th grade 15 minutes

Committee member questions and concerns:
Math help more individualized, extra help with struggling students
Mental health and bullying- would love to see a full time counselor in each school; agreement form to discuss matters with other counseling centers in the community; maturation program has been moved from spring to fall; no phone policy discussion in school; chromebook filters (youtube), second step program for social and emotional wellness. Assemblies on being kind; 20 minutes
