Community Council Meeting Minutes 3.4.26
Attendees: Paul Mecham, Sarah Mecham, Brittany Hallows, Dennis Anderson, Matthew Rhees, Angela Johnson, Dani Hallows.
Mr. Rhees motioned to call the meeting to order. Paul motioned to approve the minutes from the 11/19/25 meeting and everyone was in favor.
Discussion Topics: Talked about our Trust Land Money and how it has been spent so far this year. Discussed how we should spend our Trust Land Money next year as well. We will use it to keep our teachers in place an IA’s . One of the IA’s is hired to work one on one with student and the other IA is hired to help with special education and also refocus coordinator.
3 new teachers for the 2026-2027 school year. Mrs. Jensen who taught 8th grade/ Art and Kayleen Lyman Special Education Director are retiring. We are also hiring a new Band teacher.
Brittany motioned to approve the Trust Land Plan which will basically be spent the same way a last year so that we can keep class sizes down and keep our teachers. Paul Seconded it. Everyone was in favor.
Matt motioned to adjourn the meeting, Sarah seconded it and and everyone was in favor.
