Ashman PTO Minutes 10/18/21
In attendance: Jill Porter, Lisa Thomas, Ashley Wilder, Austin Bozzelli, Rochelle Crane, Luis Monuz, NaShelle Hart, Amee Roundy
1. We will discontinue doing Box Tops and Coke Gives
2. There will be no Come Read With Me in November, we will try to do the spring one (COVID)
3. Birthday Table- the last Tuesday of each month. We need a volunteer to help Wednesday the 27th for October birthdays
4. We need people to sign up for PTO, Lisa will get a flier sent home
5. Red Ribbon Week- Oct 27th-29th – A flier is going home soon to tell parents about it
6. Val-o-grams in February- Ashley will organize them
7 Spirit Day every Friday, starting in November- The PTO will provide Frootie candy for the class with the highest percentage wearing their school shirt or a blue shirt. Each week the teachers will email their numbers to Jill and she will get the treats to the winning class. Ashley will create a flier to go home
8. Penny Wars- Start in January- the grade with the most money at the end of January wins a rootbeer float party. Rochelle Crane has 3 big jugs we can use, we will put them in a common place so everyone can see. Ashley will create a flier to go home
9. We are trying to earn money for two “buddy benches” or tables for the pavilion
