I wanted to be the first to congratulate each of you. YOU were selected as the Chamber of Commerce Business of the Month for May. There are over 100 local businesses in our area that are Chamber of Commerce members and they selected you for this honor. It's a perfect tribute to all of you. Attached is a picture of the Sevier Board of Education accepting the award on your behalf as well as a small write-up that was read concerning the award.
THANK YOU for all that you do and have done for the children in our community. This is a well deserved award and couldn't have happened to a better group of people.

The pandemic and recent political and social divide have put extra pressure and strain on teachers and staff over the past several months. Throughout these difficult challenges, our schools have remained a safe and loving place for students to learn and grow. This award is a tribute to the dedicated teachers, principals, and support staff who consistently give of their time and talents in support of the hopes and dreams of kids. This award acknowledges their dedication and continued care and concern for the children and families in our area.
Sevier School District is one of the largest employers in the area with a payroll of over 600 employees each month. Sevier School District employs over 260 teachers, 12 principals, 93 instructional assistants, 23 secretaries, 39 custodians, 26 bus drivers, 38 child nutrition workers, 20 counselors and therapists, 10 school librarians, 3 nurses, 5 technology support staff and dozens of other support and leadership staff members."
