How Trust Lands Funds Were Used During the 2018-19 School Year 

Red Hills Middle School has utilized Trust Lands funds the following ways for the 2018-19 school year:

Differentiated instruction using systems for intervention and extensions, as well as high engagement activities, which focused on individual student learning styles and needs.

Opportunities for teachers to improve their practice were provided through professional development offerings and the time to work in collaborative teams to improve instruction.

Tutoring was offered for students who needed additional help with math.

6th grade students participated in hands-on science activities through a science-based field trip.

High interest reading materials were made available in the classroom to enhance student engagement and learning.

Improving performance in academic areas by providing a rigorous intervention and extension activities during our 35-minute advisory period in conjunction with helping students develop a firm belief in their potential, an optimistic vision for the future, and a strong sense of personal determination and perseverance.
