1. RATE OF PAY
1.1 The Board of Education shall pay an additional 20 days salary at the employee's daily rate of pay as established by the employee's contract (excludes extensions) or one additional month's salary (whichever is greater) on the final paycheck of employees who die while they are employed by Sevier School District.
2. DEFINITION
2.1 Contract Employee: Any employee who is issued a written contract for greater than 30 hours per week at their regularly assigned duties, excluding extensions and extra curricular activities.
2.2 Effective date of contract hour change from 15 to 30 is July 1, 2013.
