COMMUNITY COUNCIL AGENDA

February 17, 2021

Those in attendance are Kassie Gates, Paul Mecham, Charlyn Roberts, Andrea Moore, Kerry Burr, Rod Hinck and Angela Johnson.

Mr. Hinck motioned to approve the minutes from our meeting on November 18, 2020.  Paul Mecham seconded it and all were in favor.

Talked about moving Trustland Money forward to help cover staffing.

We will start flex time on Wednesday’s starting next week.  It is like an intervention to help students that are behind in classes get caught back up.

Community Council Trustland Ideas for 2021-2022.  Our estimated carry over is around $1,000.  We would use Trust Land Money for next year similar to this years other than sending 13 staff to Las Vegas in the summer of 2022 for ~$17,000.

Charlyn suggested doing our classes live so that those that are on-line learning could join live and make it easier for them.

Mr. Hinck votes to make an amendment the Trust land plan to ear mark all money left over (including anything over the 10%) for next year’s Trustland plan specifically to ensure we have the funds for the PLC conference. Kerry seconded it.  Everyone else was in favor.

Parent teachers conference is coming up on February 10, 2021.  We will meet with parents of some of the students as a team in the morning and then have an open house in the afternoon.

Next meeting on March 24, 2021 at 3:00 to finalize Trustland Plan.

Meeting adjourned at 3:50
