The goal is to graduate a minimum of 25 students next year between high school and adult education. It will also be to advance our juniors and get them in a position where they are able to graduate the following year. Our students at YIC will also be given the opportunity to earn credit and advance their education using the same or similar programs we use at Cedar Ridge High School. Aligning the curriculum and manpower is essential in this process. All funding will be used toward a paraprofessional. Action Step 1: Evaluate each transcript and create a CCR (College and Career Ready) plan for each student Action Step 2: Prior to the school starting or enrollment throughout the year, a mandatory conference will be held for each student to discuss their CCR and an educational plan and timeline is created for each student. Parents/guardians are required to be in this meeting. Action Step 3: Midway through each year, a conference will be held for each student to discuss the success/needs for each student. Action Step 4: Students who fail to meet their academic goals will be monitored and supported. Letters may be sent to parents along with phone calls in order to get support from all stakeholders. YIC may be used with absentee issues to help students improve poor attendance habits. Action Step 5: CCRs will be shared with each student so they can monitor their graduation process in real time in a google form that is easy to understand and follow. Action Step 6: Parents will also have access to CCRs if they wish to follow their child's performance Action Step 7: Student who are interested in Snow College will meet with an academic advisor from Cedar Ridge High School and be given a tour of the Snow College Campus to learn of options that are available to them. Action Step 8: Students will receive support in the FASFA process if they choose a post high school option for academics (if needed). Action Step 9: Adult Ed students will be monitored in a similar way as high school students where they have the support of the school to be successful. Action Step 10: Adult Ed students will create a timeline for their academic achievements and work toward reaching their goals. Action Step 11: Building availability and resources will be available to Adult Ed students throughout the school year.
